How to pick, if you are not sure.
Three questions settle it for most people, in this order.
- Where are the users? Physical distance sets the floor on latency and nothing else you buy can lower it. Serving Bangkok from Singapore costs you roughly 25 ms; serving it from Frankfurt costs you 160 ms.
- Where is the data allowed to be? If a contract, a regulator or a customer requires the data to stay in-country, that answer overrides latency entirely.
- What are you connecting to? If the server mostly talks to a payment gateway, an API or a database elsewhere, put it near that, not near the humans.
Cannot see the country you need?
We add capacity where there is demand, and the lead time is usually four to eight weeks once a facility is chosen. If you have a real requirement in a country not on the list, tell us the country, the sizes and the rough volume.
