Answers, and how to reach someone.
Most of what people ask before and after their first order is below. If the answer is not here, a ticket from the panel is the fastest route to a human — it arrives with your server attached.
Ordering and provisioning
Linux servers are usually built and booted under a minute after a payment clears. Windows takes five to fifteen minutes, because the image has to be expanded and sysprepped. Both appear in the panel with credentials as soon as they boot.
Almost always the payment has not cleared, or a fraud check has flagged the order — new accounts paying by card from a country that does not match the billing address get reviewed by a human. Write to billing and it is usually resolved within the hour during Gulf business hours.
Yes. Bank transfer in USD or AED, and major cryptocurrencies. Bank transfers take a day or two to land, so the server builds when the funds arrive rather than immediately.
Not as such, but the first server on an account can be cancelled inside 48 hours for a full refund with no questions asked. In practice that is a better trial than a crippled free tier: it is the real product on the real network.
Running the server
Use the VNC console in the panel. It reaches the guest independently of its network configuration, so you can log in locally and undo the rule. This is exactly what the console exists for and it does not require a ticket.
From the panel. The server shuts down, the new allocation is applied and it boots again — usually under three minutes. The IP address does not change. Disk can grow but cannot shrink; a smaller plan means building a new server and migrating.
A full disk image is taken weekly and stored off the hypervisor. Restores are started from the panel and overwrite the current disk, so take a snapshot first if the current state is worth keeping. Daily retention is available as a paid extra.
No, and we would rather say so. A weekly off-host image is disaster recovery, not an archive. Anything you genuinely cannot lose should also go somewhere outside our infrastructure — that is true of every provider, ourselves included.
Yes, set it yourself in the panel for any IPv4 address assigned to your server. It takes effect within a few minutes. If you are sending mail, do this before you send anything.
Network and addresses
Yes, at $3.50 per address per month. Requests are not instant because regional registry rules require a justification for additional IPv4 space and we have to record it. Tell us what the addresses are for and the usual turnaround is a few hours.
A /64 on request wherever the upstream facility routes IPv6 to us. Coverage is not universal across all 40 countries, so ask before ordering if IPv6 is a hard requirement in a specific location.
It is closed by default on new accounts, which is standard practice and the reason our address space has a usable reputation. Ask support, tell us what you are sending and to whom, and we will open it for accounts that check out.
An mtr report in both directions if you can — from your network to the server and from the server back — plus the timestamp and timezone. Routing problems are often asymmetric, and a one-way trace only shows half the picture.
Billing and cancellation
On the same day each month for monthly terms, or once for the whole period on annual terms. Invoices are issued by FLOW DIGITAL – FZCO in US dollars and are available in the panel.
We retry, and we email you. The server keeps running for seven days past due, then suspends. Data is kept for a further fourteen days after suspension before deletion — twenty-one days in total, which is enough time to fix a card or move.
In the panel, on the server page. Billing stops at the end of the term you have already paid for and the server runs until then. There is no phone call, no retention offer and no exit fee.
The first server on an account is fully refundable within 48 hours. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current term. Annual terms are refunded pro rata when the failure is ours. The full policy is on the refunds page.
